But Yellow wall colour is great for the living room, the puja or worship room, and the study room if they are in this direction. Since yellow colour represents sunlight, which means power and energy, do not paint the walls in yellow if the room gets plenty of direct sunlight. 

    Southeast belongs to the planet Venus. Silver white is recommended for this direction, as this signifies beauty and luck. 

    The northwest direction goes to the Moon, so white is the colour of this direction too. This colour can be used for a bedroom in the northwest. 

    Southwest belongs to Rahu. All the shades and hues of green are recommended for this direction. Green colour represents nature, freshness and hope. Lighter shades of green are good for the kitchen, the study room and the bedroom.
