Yerba Flax Face-Food Mask

1 tablespoon loose leaf yerba mate
1/8 cup water
1 tablespoon ground flax meal 1 teaspoon honey 
1/2 teaspoon flaxseed oil

* What you will need: coffee grinder, saucepan, tea strainer, mixing bowl, fork, tight-sealing storage container

1.    To Make: Grind the yerba mate into a coarse powder in your coffee grinder. Boil the water. Place the yerba mate and flax meal in the mixing bowl and add the boiling water. Stir to moisten and let stand 5-10 minutes. Add the honey and flaxseed oil and blend to a uniform consistency. You will have a thick paste.

2.    To Store: This mask is best fresh. Store in a closed container in the refrigerator and use within 4 days.

3.    To Use: To use, spread a thick layer of the mask onto clean skin. Leave on skin 1015 minutes and rinse off with warm water. Follow with toner and moisturizer.
