Follow these simple tips to make you skin glow and smooth.
Cleanse & Exfoliate :
Wash your face twice a day with a soap free cleanser. It is important
to remove oil and dirt from your skin to make it smooth and glow. Also,
remove make up before going to bed. If you sleep with the make up on,
your skin is more likely to breakout and become dull. Most of us are too
lazy or sleepy to use a make up remover before bed and then wash the
face. Face wipes is the easiest way to cleanse your skin. That means
you don’t have to use a make up remover if you use wipes. If washing
your face is over drying the skin, you may use gram flour mixed with
water. It is also very important to regularly exfoliate your skin. It
helps to remove dead cells accumulated on skin.
Steam :
Steaming opens up skin pores and removes impurities deep down the
pores, making your face soft and smooth. Blackheads are formed by
clogging of pores, so steaming helps to soften pores, making it easier
to pop them. It also boosts blood circulation which reproduce healthy
skin cells. It could be easily done at home. Simply boil a pot of water,
you may add herbs such as thyme or rosemary. You can also add mint
leaves, rose petals or lemon for a delicious smell and soothing feel to
skin. Remove the pot from heat. Keep a towel on your head and lower your
face on the steam. The towel will avoid steam from escaping. Make sure
your face is not close to the water, if its too hot it might cause
broken veins. Steaming once a week is enough to keep your pores clean.
Cucumber & Milk Cleanser:
Cucumber has a cooling effect on skin. Its cleansing properties make
your skin soft, smooth and tightens pores. It also restores natural pH
of the skin. There are many ways to use cucumber on skin. You can place
cucumber slices on your face to have a refreshing and soothing feel.
Cucumber juice, when applied tightens your skin. You can apply it with a
cotton ball or mix it with milk to make a skin cleansing mask. Milk
contains natural lipids that moisturize skin deeply. Mix cucumber juice
in milk and apply it to your face. Leave it on for 15 minutes then rinse
 to get glowing skin.
Honey,Lemon and Olive Oil:
Honey is anti-inflammatory and a great skin cleanser. Honey also
fights skin damage and has antioxidants that reduce signs of ageing.
Lemon is rich in vitamin C and nutrients that helps skin problems. It
lightens the skin, reduce dark spots and gives glow. The other
ingredient of this mask is olive oil which has been used by women in
ancient times for beautiful skin. It gives your skin radiant glow and
maintains elasticity. Mix equal parts of honey, lemon and olive oil. Use
a cotton ball to apply it to your skin. Wash after 20 minutes with luke
warm water. This could be used overnight then rinse in the morning.
Yogurt :
Yogurt has been used by Greeks for skin care. It is rich in proteins,
lactic acid and enzymes which sooth and cleanse the skin making it soft
and smooth. Combine it with lemon and honey to make a moisturizing and
exfoliating mask. You can simply massage your face with a tbsp of yogurt
to cleanse. The enzymes in it are going to remove dead skin and help in
production of new cells. Your skin will feel smooth and glowing.
